Calls 2-3times a day trying to sell me extended warranty (supposedly) I don't have time for this nonsense
Boop 3rd Nov, 2015+2
A gentlemen called me this morning and stated his name and that he was from the DMV and wanted to know if I still owned a particular vehicle. I do not appreciate some one from California pretending to be the a DMV person calling me but I was suspicious about this call.

They have called about 4 times now. When I answered, no response on all times! Understand this is a Scam! Anyway to shut down whoever is doing this to all of us? Wasn't sure if there was a bad connection, so looked up the number! Enough is Enough! Please get this Idiot Shut Down, whatever it takes! Don't know their motive as to Why this is going on, but fear this could lead to other more dangerous attempts from copycats out there! Have already experienced here locally concerning my husband! Had to call the local Police, who came & wrote out a report! The officer said this particular scam had already been in existence for over a year! PLEASE DO SOMETHING!

Call from "Bank of America" who immediately stated that I had not extended the warranty on my 2012 vehicle. I simply stated that I do not own it anymore... She pleasantly hung up...

Said about car warnety for 2011 which we told them for 4 yrs now we do not own anymore. They continues to call. Told them I would report them. He said, "They most not of been doing their job." Then he said he needed information. I said he did not and hung up. I am also on the do not call list. Doesn't to work to well. But then scammers don't care, of course.

called here several times over the past month. No one ever answers. I never call back. Checked the number out and It appears to be BOA.. Whoever this is is lucky I can't find out their location.......otherwise, I would very emphatically demonstrate to them just how wise it would be to never call again!

Call ID said Bank of America. Caller was trying to sell me extended warranty on my car. When I asked what company this was she hung up on me. I get calls almost every day trying to sell me worthless extended warranty on my car. Every call is a different company. They sound genuine because they know some personal details but I never do business with someone that calls me. I only do business with someone when I initiate the contact. When I call this number back the call does not go through. Surprise Surprise! I called Bank of America fraud department and told them what happened. I also told them I have no accounts with them. 1-800-432-1000 Please do the same. Telling these people to take you off their list does no good.

Comes up Bank of America on caller ID. Hispanic female asks for husband by first name. When I say he is not here and may I ask who is calling, she hung up.

called 5/05/15 @ 6:48 pm. Hispanic female informally asked for my husband by 1st name. I said wrong #. She said is this the (last name) residence. Again I said wrong #.

Received several calls from this number over the past several days. Answered once and it was a solicitation for car warranty; told them to remove me from call list; obviously they did not as I was called again today.

We've received 4 calls from this company. We asked each one to remove us from the list. This 4th time we told the caller we would report him and he threatened to call us once a day. We told them we no longer have the car in question, but they keep calling us back.

916 313-4201 called at 10:20 am and asked for my husband. Boiler-room background noise. The caller ID showed V22412203400079 916-313-4201. "Hello, is ___ there?" "He's asleep, can I help you?" "We're calling because the warranty has expired on his truck and it's time to renew it." "(sob, sniff) I'm sorry but he doesn't own a vehicle anymore. He's been blind since the accident at the plant last year. (sounds of me choking up). "(startled breath sound) "I'm so sorry! Here, I'll take him off the list. I'm so sorry." I've found that the only way to get scammy telemarketers to stop calling is to make them WANT to take you off their list. The key is to sound completely genuine, and almost apologetic that the person isn't able to be a customer of their fine organization due to some fairly shocking unfortunate event, which you're eager to describe. Interesting to note are the two other calls I received this morning: At 10:17am (3 minutes prior) Consumer Services robocalled with their standard message about this being my last opportunity to lower my credit card interest rates. And, at 9:57am, Bank Of America 916-313-4201 called and there was endless silence on the other end of the line while I said, "Hello? HelLO!" Note the different Caller IDs, and the timestamps of the calls. To me, this indicates that they all originated from the same boiler room call center.

Received a call that showed up on caller ID as Bank of America - took them a minute to come on line and they asked for someone and when I inquired as to who they were looking for - the girl said sorry, wrong number and immediately hung up. I did a number search and found out it was listed to NCO Financial (a collection agency). I have never dealt with Bank of America.
